6 :1 Life Through the Eyes of My Blackberry.

- Hia guys!

- Here's a little something for you to listen to, Crazy because I have a little hatred for Demi Lovato but this song Skyscraper is beautiful.

- So it's been a while, almost a month infact . . . it feels a little odd!

- Of late I've been having some severe personal problems including being in and out of hospital and some issues with some friends (don't want to bore you with the details but my ex is getting a little too involved with my life when I want to never even acknowledge his existence)

- I have an operation booked . . . . for the 21'st of December (4 days before Christmas . . . . nooooo!) and although I am:

a. frightened to death
b. dreading it and
c. annoyed that it has to be right before Christmas

I am kind of relieved. . . hopefully I will then be able to cut back on the morphine (which I am STILL taking every two hours.)

- I often think it would be really cool to be able to print of everything you see, because some things are just too good to miss - but by the time you get your camera out, the moment has passed. . . which got me thinking, if my phone could think,  what would it make of my life?!

- So here I present to you - Life through the eyes of my Blackberry. . .

Picnik collage1

Picnik collage2

Picnik collage3

- There's a couple of good fires in there (the last photo is of a sausage setting alight on a BBQ at around midnight - yeea this is what happens when you leave amateurs to attend to the cooking!)

- The SIZE of my brothers feet! (his basketball boots were ordered to my parents' house when I was there)

-My order from Long Winter Farm

-Halloween with my friend who went as a butcher? I don't know it was composed the last minute with an hour to go and limited resources! - hence cleaver made from card and tinfoil

- And a  couple of early morning shots - I'm always up at around 5 or 6 (medication wakes me up every  two hours, when I'm ready from my next dosage) so I often see the sun come up, and sometimes it's just beautiful. When you wake up, walk downstairs to be greeted by this

IMG-20111101-00091

the cold air on the door, but the beaming sunshine - I know the letterbox is a mess, I'm working on it.

- And my friend with a box on her head. No I don't know what this is. How it came about. Why it came about. Whose idea it was. All I know is that I opened the front door and this was stood there to greet me. I am well aware I should probably go and find new friends.!

- I hope everyone is well!

5 :1 Locking the Windows & Doors - Security Light ON [Some Scary Happenings in Hanna's World]

Helo bawb,

- So it's been a while, a little too long if you ask me!

- How's everyone doing? good?

- This past month has been absoluteley crazy, so much has been going on! (and if you've ever tried to install functioning internet into a house where the nearest power supply to your phone line is up two flights of stairs - you'll feel my pain, it involved lifting up a carpet and a ridiculously LONG phone line!)

- I've moved back abroad, away from the wonder that is England! (God bless)

- I just wanted to talk about something quite serious actually, currently in my city (TINY city, but still) we have an insanely low crime rate, everybody knows everybody else and in general I have always felt quite safe here, but just recently we have had a spate of kidnappings ( I KNOW - what. the. heck?!)

- It's the sort of thing you would just knock to the back of your mind and think would never happen to you. Until it happens to your next door neighbour, then two of your best friends nearly get pulled into a car on their way home, - a BIT of police presence would be nice!

- It's actually really quite scary, because until recently I would have been more than happy to walk through the city on my own at 2am (and have done) It's not a nice feeling to feel unsafe in your own home.

- my heart is with you all, stay safe.

4 :4 Where Do You Get Your Inspiration?

- I often see posts on gorgeous blogs (ahem) of 'Inspiration' posts

139786230_t63gZC1b_c

-but what I really want to know is. Is this what really inspires you, or is it what you think other people want to see at that time, are they simply pictures of things you like the look of?

- Then again, is that not something that inspires you?! Is there a difference between liking the look of something and it inspiring you?!

163050218_ipmD1NWm_c

- Whenever I am feeling down or unwell, or just not myself I like to surround myself in a visual world of images which make me happy, this is my inspiration, and more often than not these images come into fruition in my daily life, they inspire me to do projects in my own world!

69659949_5ObGLrT4_c

- I do have a LOT of exciting projects to share with you in the next couple of posts

- I promise, they are good ones! (even if the image quality is crud - by crud, I mean not my normal standard, but I think I am a little OCD so all shall be well)

- Anyway, I used to download and store thousands of inspirational images onto my hardrive (which is now caput and I have to save everything to an external one, that story aside) I now primarily use three different sources of inspiration.

1. Pinterest   <<pssst that goes to my Pinterest account! (we all know and use Pinterest yes? If we don't we do now! get to it!) [these are from my 'Think' board]

inspo pint

2. Tumblr  <<pssst that goes to THFM (now I know this has a stigma [14 years old] and what annoys me the most is that on tumblr the source of the original image is often lost. . . whereas on pinterest it is automatically logged, but I love my tumblr account for little things like decorations, gifts, trinkets, jewellery etc. . . I find it really inspiring, and as long as you are willing to put up with usernames such as W-H-O0-R-E-Z you are ok, I tend to ignore that tat, I can't be bothered with it, instead I curate my own little world in images, and ALL images I post are linked back to their source (If they are re-blogged, well I can't help that!) reblogging, that's another issue I have with Tumblr . .

.

inspo tumblr 1

Does anyone really see Tumblr as blogging? I know a few people do write posts on it, but the majority are just for image inspiration no?

inspo tumblr 2

3. Fashiolista  <<pssst that goes to my profile! (I'm a fashion junkie. I'll admit it. and yes I just have spent another 80 euro on clothes today - I was going to buy some boots, oh my gosh they are perfect, BUT they don't have them online, and they didn't have my size in store yesterday!!! - That aside, I often forget to log my finds into Fashiolista, but I think it's a great source of inspiration!!)

inspo fash

- If you're still with me after that ridiculously long post, well done, have 50 euro! . . . orrr. . . you could listen to this tune. It's my boyfriend's band, and I am ridiculously proud of them, so go and listen. Off you pop!

- Much love.

4 :2 Some Witchery ( Spell Designs)

_DSC6634_CU3

- To say I struggle with my personal style is a little bit of an understatement.

- My mother refuses to buy me clothes for birthdays etc because she says I am so hard to understand. This is true, I am.

- I LOVE vintage dresses, I LOVE anything covered in sequins, I LOVE structured blazers, boyfriend fit t-shirts, the colour 'peach' and 'oatmeal' but also anything navy or dove grey. . I LOVE leather boots, I LOVE moccasins, and I love to be covered in as much jangly (is that even a word?!) jewellery as possible. . . .On second thought, I'm pretty easy to understand! I LOVE to be a walking Bazaar.

- My recent love is the company Spell, run by two sisters, I want need everything in their shop. If I had money I would be dangerous.

- My sister is undoubtedly one of my favourite people in the entire world, and I would love to run a company like this with her when she's older and has finished school. (my company would feature more glitter though!) I think this is why I love their story so much! - Working with my sister would be a dream come true.
ourstory

- Their collections are so inspiring, and I'm in need of creating something similiar for myself and my house (my beautiful NEW house, which  I am moving in to in less than two weeks!!! Goodbye England! - I digress!).

The August Break 2011: #11 (And Han's Relationship Issues!)

- This is literally all I wanted all day.

- I know, as far as picture quality goes, it's pretty shocking, but it represented my day really well.

DSC_0704
(August Break 2011 : #11)

- It's amazing how much of a bad day you are having and just the supportive hand of someone close to you, reassuring you that everything is going to be ok, will make you feel a billion times happier.

- Righto : I've had two emails in the last week, asking me if I have a boyfriend. (yes) . . but here's why it may have slipped past you!

- I don't like blogs where people ram their relationship down your throat. I mean, I'm glad you have a boyfriend and all. . don't get me wrong, but your significant other is not what makes you, you.

- I feel this way in life too. One of my friends got VERY angry with me because she felt that I wasn't spending enough time with her. Where I had gone from living with her and seeing her a good twelve hours a day, to seeing her three or four evenings a week (She has since found a girlfriend and I haven't seen her in near enough five months) I think it's about finding a balance (old married couples - you're off the hook!)

DSC_0686
(TEA after a shopping spree?!)

(he really hates me taking pictures, so I went all stealth mode! don't know how he managed to miss my camera. . it's big enough! but shhhh)

- When I was single (and hurting- because in the end I started to enjoy singledom) in the blogs I found, if they were all soppy and "BBZ I luv yhoo/ I love my babba, he is the best thing I ever found" I immediately left the blog. I couldn't stand it. I don't mind the odd mention here and there, but I really hate the constant reminder that your life is not as good.

- Trust me I could go on about how amazing the boy is (he works with disabled people doing music workshops, and with children, and is just one of the most caring people ever) and I have written about him before, but I will always refer to him as my friend, because he is first and foremost my friend.

DSC_0701
(Swear down, he's a woman, owns more shoes than I do!)

- I just come across way to many blogs, who seem to just flaunt their boyfriends because it makes them sound 'cool'- I'm not one for judging others' relationships, but to me, a relationship is an intimate thing, it's a meaningful thing, not a status badge or a facebook update.

- Either way, yes I have a boyfriend, yes I love him, and yes he is one of the most amazing men I know (my Dad, Brother &Grandad being the others).

2 :13 Prague in the Summer Time.

- There really is nothing like exploring a new area. A place with a history.

-Praha we love you.

- I'm not entirely sure why these pictures are in black and white, I think I must have been playing around with the settings on my camera (I do that a lot *rolls eyes*), but I quite like them like that. I wish I could erase other people from the pictures though, just take a picture of the building without the tourists.

- Possibly the worst time to be in Prague, it was SO HOT, but amazing none the less!

15. Ghost Towns! - and Han's Going To Buy a Village!

- Whenever I'm in a bad mood, I end up doing something daft, but, I'm not in a bad mood and I've just done something stupid which I regret. I've had a good cry. I've just lost a lot of memories in picture format, stored on my computer. Accidentally!

- As I was driving home last night *ahem* this morning (half three) I had to pull over the car at the side of the road to take these pictures, I love the colours of sunrise. Such a beautiful time of day, so peaceful. Lucky for me, there was only one lorry driver who passed me (he did look at me like I had lost it but hey ho!)

- Ghost towns!

-How cool are ghost towns!

hashima-hell
Hashima Island
Once home to 5259 people, the mining island was shut down in 1974
It opened again in 2009 for tourism

- The more I read about ghost towns, the more I want to read. There's something so eerily enthralling about somewhere that used to be home to so many, that is now completely empty. Like history comes alive, because the whole place is frozen in time.

- I guess they are like looking into a pictre that exists, like jumping into a picture!

- I think I feel sorry for the place, like it was once loved, and now it's all abandoned. Id love to visit some of these places and I'm sorry that I never got to see Sanzhi in Taiwan.

-This Website *ClickyClicky* shows the top ten abandoned towns.

- If I could, Id live in my own ghost town.

- When I get a spare£485,000 I shall buy Valle Piola in Italy, it's crazy that you can buy an ENTIRE village!! - for the price of a smallish flat!

14. She's Crazy! Tigi Haircare Review : Bed Head & Catwalk.

- Why yes, I am probably the only insane girl with a bottle of conditioner THIS SIZE in my bathroom!! (2 Litres!)

1. TIGI BedHead Dumb Blonde Reconstructor.
2. TIGI BedHead Foxy Curls Conditioner.
3. TIGI Catwalk Fashionista Styling Spray.

- So, my hair, naturally is a level 8 light blonde (If you're not familiar with said level system here is a chart) darker at the roots and lighter towards the ends where the sun has caught it. (makes sense!) A couple of years ago I gradually took it lighter and lighter to the point of platinum, as a result my hair is pretty dry- It's not snapping off, and I don't have split ends, it's just DRY (as in, sahara dry- can't get a brush through it unless it's wet, dry!) But these products - in conjunction with very little heat styling, have returned my hair to it's former state, I was a little sceptical, but when I traded back to my previous products, I could REALLY tell the difference.

- The flat I have been living in for the last couple of years has RIDICULOUSLY hard water - which doesn't make sense, because you'd assume that because the water would come off the mountains, and wouldn't be so hard. . .alas, it is, and just coming home to England the condition of my hair improves ten fold. Having said that, these products have really helped both home and away!

1. TIGI BedHead Dumb Blonde Reconstructor.
- This product is gorgeous! It smells amazing! - I was previously using Aussie 3 Minute Miracle as a deep conditioner, and I liked it. There are so many good reviews about it, and they are true, it is nice, but this, this is better! This is actually my second tube of this. It claims to be packed with protein to help recondition hair that has lost protein through over-bleaching. It also says you can use it as an everyday conditioner or leave it on as a hair mask. I once read that for any deep conditioner to work properly it needs to be left on for five or more minutes, so I always look out for products that say on the label that it can be left on for over five minutes. A little goes a long way with this product. The first time I tried it I was so used to putting LOADS of cheaper product on that I did the same thing with this. I wasn't particularly impressed, but I discovered the less is more approach, I think if you put too much on it is a bit of a product overload and it doesn't have the desired effect. My hair is definitely left feeling so much more manageable, it gets rid of all the flyaways (I have curly hair- I have a LOT of those!) and prevents frizz. Finally a product that does what I want it to!

2. TIGI BedHead Foxy Curls Conditioner.
- I think the sheer size of the bottle shows how much I like this. I did go through three of the normal size bottles before I purchased this one! I love the smell of this, and the conditioner is so light it doesn't weigh my hair down, it doesn't leave it looking dull and my hair really feels softer! I don't usually leave my hair to dry curly, but when I do it is frizz free, and even when I blow dry it straight my hair doesn't frizz up. I don't think I could find a better conditioner than this (and I've tried a LOT). The only problem I have with this, is the bottle is too big to sit on the side of my bath, and I stub my toe on it in the shower!! I did buy this from TKMaxx, so it was a little cheaper than if I had bought it from the hairdressers (Im not even sure you could buy this size from the salon?) I paid £11.99 for this from TKMaxx and it is 2l so that is an amazing deal. My local TKMaxx is amazing for TIGI products (luuuckkkyyy!)

3. TIGI Catwalk Fashionista Styling Spray.
- I hate heat protector that leaves your hair crunchy/ stiff/ dry. I'm sure you know what I mean. I have tried so many heat protectors, mainly because I refuse to use heat tools (including the hairdryer) on my hair without some form of protection. All of the ones I have tried leave my hair crunchy, apart from Tresemme, but I don't really feel like that is protecting very well. This is such a good product, because it has some styling spray in it aswell, yet it still doesn't leave my hair crunchy (I do use some other products aswell) The only thing is, I don't like the smell (it smells like melon, not synthetic melon scent, real melons) but it doesn't linger, so I can get over that because I love it so much!

13. Moccasins are the Best Shoes Ever!

- Everyone should have a favourite pair of shoes!

- The ones you wear into the ground, whether it be a pair of converse (and they go at the heel), a pair of Vans slip ons (same problem) or a pair of Moccasins!

- Everyone I know mocks me for these shoes, ("Han, are you wearing slippers?"/ "Alright granny shoes?") this makes me sad! They are my all time favourite pair of shoes. Before these I had a pair of tan leather ones, and I wore those into the ground aswell, The sole was completely obliterated, and I ended up pulling it off on a day trip around Liverpool (most inconvenient).

- Not only am I mocked for these shoes, I am mocked for buying them from Marks and Spencers! There are a few pairs of moccasins on the highstreet at the moment that I would without a doubt consider, but most of them are so hard. I hate new shoes that give blisters, and the quality of these shoes is just not up to par, especially when they are charging the same as I bought these for. I am buying another pair from M&S - Probably in a tan colour.

- My obsession with moccasins is quite ridiculous. It has come to the point of me wishfully typing into Ebay, in the hope some beautiful boots will come my way!

- I am seriously lusting after some moccasin boots, preferably with fringe, preferably with embroidery. I LOVE the Manitobah pair, but the TopShop ones are probably a little more in my price range at the moment! If you find any; send them my way!

- The Manitobah website *ClickyClicky* is awesome, and I have had the background music playing the entire time I have been writing this post. I probably shouldn't be looking at these shoes though, I need to pay rent and buy food before I buy more shoes.

- The music on the website reminds me of the music we used to file into assembly to when we were little at school. That or Shakira!. . . (but that's for another day Shakira = awesome)

12. Fake It To Make It: Fake Tan Reviews Uk, The Best Fake Tan I Know.

- Fake Tan!

- My family and I are from Germany, I have a typically German complexion. I have naturally blonde hair, green eyes, yet my skin is not an 'English Rose' complexion. I tan easily, not a beautiful olive colour, Oh no! My skin naturally turns a beautiful *ahem* shade of orange. When I was younger, I used to make sure I got tan lines, so when someone asked "did you have an accident with fake tan?" I could prove, that no, in fact, I am naturally orange. Anyone else with this problem will feel my pain. Orange. Why orange?!

- Any article, in any magazine you read, will decipher that because I have light coloured eyes, and fair hair, I must burn the instant my skin even sees the sun. This doesn't happen.

- I tan easily, but I also lose my tan really quickly too. Like any girl, I feel better with a bit of a tan, but I'm never trying to full on fake a tan, just emphasize what I have. I admire the girls such as Nicola Roberts who is gorgeous when she's pale (Article here), but, it's just not a look I pull off well!

Clockwise from bottom left
1. Garnier Ambre Solaire No-Streaks Bronzer : Original.
2. Superdrug Solait 360 Dry Mist Bronzing Spray.
3. Rimmel Instant Tan Sun Shimmer : Fair Matte.
4. Clinique Self Sun Face Tinted Lotion.
5. Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Natural Bronze.
6. Dove Summer Glow.
7. Rimmel Instant Tan Sun Shimmer : Medium Shimmer.
8. Loreal Paris Sublime Bronze.
9. Clinique Self Sun Body Daily Moisturiser.
10. Clinique Self Sun Body Tinted Lotion.

- I'm pretty low maintenance, and can't be bothered with things that are going to make my life difficult. Therefore I'm always looking for the perfect tan enhancer, and my expectations are pretty high. It needs to be a nice colour, preferably not stink, apply easily, and fade nicely, none of this blotchy business!!

- Here are my reviews of fake-tans I use at the moment.

1. Garnier Ambre Solaire No-Streaks Bronzer: Original .
- I don't dislike this, but it is one of the worst I own for streaking. Which seems silly as it is the only one which claims to be No-Streaks!
- It does feel nice when you apply it, but it smells like fake tan. It may seem daft to say fake tan smells like fake tan. However a lot of companies are striving to make their products smell better. I was talking to one of my best friends, a bloke, and he said that when you can smell fake tan it is the most unattractive smell on a girl. (like wet biscuits!)
- I also don't think this develops to a particularly nice colour. Very Orange.
- It is one of the few fake tans I own which is closest to traditional fake tan, and I only tend to use it when I really can't be bothered to sort my skin out over a few days.
- All in all, not my favourite, and when I'm through this bottle, I probably won't repurchase.

2.
Superdrug Solait 360 Dry Mist Bronzing Spray.
- I can't decide with this. It has a nice colour. It sprays OK. But it has the worst smell. It doesn't smell nice before it develops, and it smells even worse after. You may think that because it is Superdrug own brand that you get what you pay for, but it's not any cheaper than some name brands, so I really don't think there are many benefits to it.
- It does tend to spray out of the bottle REALLY fast, which makes it difficult to do bits of your own body, like your chest and arms, because you can't position the bottle far enough away to get a streak free finish. However I did my sisters legs for her, and it gave a really nice colour, that was, really even.

3. Rimmel Instant Tan Sun Shimmer : Fair Matte.
- This is, without a doubt, too fair for me. My sister (who is SO PALE) bought this, and it was too dark for her. I used it throughout the winter, when my skin was a bit paler, and I still had to layer it.
- I use this as a contour, only on my face, and it actually works pretty nicely, if you put a couple of layers on. It also dries really quickly and doesn't feel tacky or clammy, and doesn't look cakey like traditional powder bronzers. So I do actually really l ike this product, I just think that if I were to repurchase, Id definitely go for a darker colour.
- The only downside is. It claims to 'wash off' this should be losely translated to 'Will not budge unless you get the turps out' . . you really do have to scrub it off.

4. Clinique Self Sun Face Tinted Lotion.
- I've had this quite a while, and I'm not sure whether or not it is still available, I did check in my local Debenhams and they still had it in stock, so I presume it is!
- I really like this product. It doesn't have a smell to it, it leaves a really nice colour and I have never had it streak, even when I've just slapped it on when I'm on the train home. I've also never had it stain my hands.
- It is a little more expensive than some of the others, so maybe one for the duty free! It is totally worth it though!

5. Palmers Cocoa Butter Formula Natural Bronze.
- This is what I have been using recently, and I really like it. It leaves my skin soft and moisturised, and it does leave noticeable colour behind.
- It is not a really orange colour when it is developed, which is also why I like it.
- This product claims to be daily moisturiser, and you are supposed to reapply every day. I apply it after the shower, but you do have to watch because it absorbs so quickly it is difficult to tell where you have been and it's quite easy to miss spots, but if you work it systematically there is no problem!
- I love the fact that it doesn't smell. At all. When it has developed. (I don't smell like wet biscuits!!!) And when you apply it, it just smells like regular cocoa butter.
- I do work as a cleaner, and I use a lot of chemicals, and this has survived - Im not entirely sure what is going to bring it off! (so definitely summer- proof!!)

6. Dove Summer Glow.
- Very average.
- Builds up daily, but does smell when it has developed.
- I do like the colour though, so if you can get over the smell this is a good one as it very rarely leaves streaks.
- Out of all of the generic daily build up tans readily available this is my favourite.

7. Rimmel Instant Tan Sun Shimmer : Medium Shimmer.
- I hate this
- I don't know why I own it
- It's blotchy, and doesn't wash off like it claims to.
- I actually used this for fancy dress. Slathered it over my face, put on a paper suit, and claimed to be from a tanning company. *slaps forehead*
- As much as I love Tom Jones; This is not a look I want to go for!!!

8. Loreal Paris Sublime Bronze.
- I don't really like this either
- I bought this because I had heard so many good reviews about it, but I find it to be no where near as good as the Superdrug own brand, and that is embarassing for loreal. The colour is pants. It doesn't spray very nicely, yet that is one of it's claims! It also claims to have a 'fresh citrus fragrance' . . . does it heck as like! It smells like your average wet-biscuit fake tan, even before it has developed.
- I could put up with it, and will probably keep using it. but, not a fan.

9. Clinique Self Sun Body Daily Moisturiser.
- Hands down, THE BEST FAKE TANNING PRODUCT EVER.
- Not just out of these in this selection, but out of all of the ones I have ever tried, ever.
- My mother is a bit of a slave to Clinique, which is why I ended up with this, it was a present from her. I'm not fussed by brands, and didn't really have any expectations with this at all, but Oh MY GOODNESS, I can't rave about this enough.
- It's a daily moisturiser so you can build up the colour, but in the winter if you just want to perk up your skin, one use is enough to make your skin glow.
- It smells like christmas! - Such an odd thing to say- but I think it has the faint smell of cloves before it develops, and has virtually no smell after.
- It has never streaked and the consistency is second to none. When you apply it, the lotion has a slight shimmer, but this dissapears as it develops, and I have actually found that it makes it easier to apply.
- It stays put until you exfoliate, and if you don't bother, it fades quite naturally by itself.
- I hate it when fake tan transfers onto clothes, and this never has, even if I've worn a white bra!
- Amazing stuff!

10. Clinique Self Sun Body Tinted Lotion.
- This is OK
- No where near as good as #9.
- It has a nice colour, and no smell as you apply, but it does have a slight smell as it develops.
- It does leave a nice colour, but it doesn't fade nicely and you will find it going slightly blotchy as it ages, especially in places like the inside of your elbows and the back of your knees. . Which is annoying, I've never had that happen before.
- A little dissapointing after owning other Clinique Self Sun products, and I wouldn't dive out and buy it again.

- I hope that this was helpful to someone! I know that there are a lot of reviews for fake tan out there, however I've noticed that they are usually for the St Tropez and Fake Bake. I know I haven't really read any for Clinique products, which are, my favourites!

- If anyone has any products they think are better, I'd love to know, I'm always on the hunt for the perfect tan enhancer!

11. The Muffin Man; Homemade Coffee Muffins & Lemon Curd Centre Muffins.

- Today, apparently, is a day where food is quite a big factor in my head!

- As a bit of a backlog from Father's day on Sunday. I made my dad some coffee muffins, seeing as his favourite cake is coffee cake! I just figure that muffins are easier to serve, and they look prettier, and I like making them!

- I just used a basic sponge mix

8oz Flour
8oz Sugar
8oz Butter
4 eggs
1tsp Vanilla Essence
1 tsp Baking Powder

-Then I made some instant coffee using 3 tsp of coffee granules and 1tbsp of boiling water. I added this to the mix and then divided it up into muffin cases.

- These cook for about 20minutes (or until a skewer, when inserted, comes out clean) at 160°c

- For the icing I used my favourite Vanilla Cheese Icing recipe and added 1tbsp of Camp Coffee! Simple! To finish I sprinkled on some mixed chopped nuts, In a vague attempt to recreate a coffee and walnut cake.

- Now, I know it was Father's day, but, my mother, loathes coffee! I didn't want her to feel left out so I whipped up these Lemon Curd muffins.

- I used the same basic sponge recipe as above, but when you spoon these into the cases, add half a dessert spoon full into the bottom, followed by a teaspoon of lemon curd, then fill up the case.

- This results in. . . .

- Gooey Lemony centres!

-Because these are so sweet, and packed full of lemon flavour, I don't really think these need icing, so I simply dusted the tops with icing sugar.

- Baking is such a stress reliever for me, and I love how happy cake makes everyone else! Isn't it funny how much of a mood-changer cake is?!
